Creativity times
Creativity times are opportunities to be refreshed and restored as we discover and explore our God given creativity with our Maker. A session can help relieve anxiety and stress and enhance wellbeing. Everyone is welcome. We are all creative whether we think it or not – be ready to be surprised!
Last month our starting point was Psalm 139 focusing on verse 14, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. 2 Participants responses follow:
At every stage of life Lord
At every stage of life Lord,
You are there!
Close to the baby needing care.
Close to the child
Whether happy or sad,
Close to the adult good or bad.
Close to the elderly needing aid.
Close to the dying one in a bed laid.
You see, you understand the joy and the pain,
The tears and the laughter again and again.
You’ve been there and done it, you have the scars!
On hands and feet and in Your heart.
For us, You love and You care
Even when we don’t realise that You are there.
Whatever we do, whatever we say
Whatever we think or when we try to run away
You hold us close in Your loving arms
Ensuring our safety, keeping us from harm.
There is no place that we can hide from You,
You share in everything we do.
When we fall You lift us up
Dust us down because of the gift of Your cup.
You cleanse us, forgive us, bless us and provide
All that we need to live our lives.
Lord, help us to love and trust you more,
Day by day You to adore.
Teach us to listen and keep our eyes on you
Knowing Your presence in all that we do!
