Welcome to Created Creative’s December update
We hope you are well.
Last month our topic was mountains and we looked at Psalm 121, ‘I lift my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”(verse 1). We were reminded about how we need God’s perspective on situations and not our own – at the bottom of a mountain it can feel overwhelming, we can’t see a way through, yet on top of a mountain with the Lord, we can have more clarity and a better view.

Creativity times
Creativity times are opportunities to be refreshed and restored as we discover and explore our God given creativity with our Maker. A session can help relieve anxiety and stress and enhance wellbeing. Everyone is welcome. We are all creative whether we think it or not – be ready to be surprised!
One person shares what the Lord said to them in the last creativity session:
“I’m calling you up the mountain to be in my presence. Come and worship Me! Don’t stay at the bottom where you will be distracted and eventually led away to worship other things. Your hope is in me alone. Come My child and worship only Me!”
Another person shares their response:
CLIMBING MOUNTAINS
Would you rather climb a mountain, or stay on level ground,
where life remains the same, and little is profound?
Won’t you come on an adventure; who knows what you will see,
wondrous sights and sounds and feelings, where few have ever been.
Abraham and Isaac up God’s mountain climbed in faith,
Moses dared to venture there, no doubt, with anxious face,
and through his brave obedience, despite his inner fear,
through great trepidation, brought God’s rules to Israel’s ear.
Jesus, up God’s mountain, was transfigured near His friends,
an awesome revelation, that stayed with them to the end.
Would you rather live a risk-free life, of little faith, or fear,
or venture up God’s mountain and know His presence drawing near?….
