As we meditate on Jesus and the power of the cross, His crucifixion and resurrection, let us be reminded afresh of all that He has done for us. We are truly loved beyond measure.
“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans 5:8

The power of the cross, Isaiah 53 By His wounds we are healed.
“This painting is a spontaneous piece where I painted layers on layers. I felt the dots below represented the people that Jesus died to save and his light is shining on them from the cross in this picture representing his great love for us all as he looked down from the cross.”
He Came
He came to take away my sorrow
He came to take away my pain
He came to take away my hurts
He came to take away my distresses
He was despised and rejected on my behalf
Why do I not live in the knowledge of this?
O CROSS
O Cross – dark, cruel instrument of agony –
drawn out suffering,
bone-shattering, body-weakening,
breath-restricting,
blood-draining, mind-clouding, will-weakening,
faculty-destroying, character-irradicating, personality-obliterating,
DEATH-DEALING.
BUT ALL FOR YOU AND ME.
Through His downfall, we are lifted,
through His pain, ours is taken,
through His tears ours are dried,
through His cries, ours are changed to laughter,
through His brokenness, we are made whole,
through His blood, we are forgiven.
His sacrifice for my salvation,
His despair for my hope,
His life-giving for my life-receiving,
His self-offering to break the curse.
Creativity times are opportunities to be refreshed and restored as we discover and explore our God given creativity with our Maker. A session can help relieve anxiety and stress and enhance wellbeing. Everyone is welcome. We are all creative whether we think it or not – be ready to be surprised!
