Welcome to Created Creative’s November update.
We hope this update finds you well as we begin this new month.
“Timothy has just now come to us from you and has brought good news about your faith and love. He has told us that you always have pleasant memories of us and that you long to see us, just as we also long to see you. Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord. How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?” 1 Thessalonians 3:6-9
These verses have a particular context in Paul’s letter to do with encouragement through faith. They also remind us to thank God for those whose faith and service have encouraged us in our lives. As we ‘remember’ nationally this month, let’s also remember personally, give thanks and so be encouraged again.

Psalm 103:1, Bless the Lord ,O my soul; All that is within me bless His Holy name!
“This scripture spoke to me and as I read it again and thought about it. I asked the Lord, what was in me that I could bless Him with? Immediately sewing came to my mind.
I got a red felt heart I had cut out last year and marked out a design and began to sew, but soon I was ripping out more than I was sewing, as each stitch wasn’t perfect. I felt annoyed and wanted to give up, but then I asked for prayer and as I talked to God about this and said sorry for my perfectionism and pride, He changed me on the inside. I felt free, I am so grateful to God.
I have now finished this heart and have gone on to make 3 more, none of them perfect, but that’s ok now, I’m pleased with them.
God has put this gift in me and as I sew now, I’m refreshed and it brings me great pleasure. Thank you Lord for this gift that I’m now free to enjoy it.”
