Welcome to the March inspiration.
Spring is here!
Hope is all around us – lighter evenings and mornings, bulbs and buds appearing. There has been a rich tapestry of creative expressions on this theme as we have explored and discovered more about the reality of Hope together – Jesus first and foremost being our living Hope.
One of our facilitators shared this poem by Alexandra Vasiliu in a session – the words are beautiful – ‘One day, the snow of your heart will melt, making space for hope. Be patient.’ Our prayer is that the shared creative expressions will help encourage us to allow the Lord to plant fresh seeds of Hope in our hearts as we begin spring.
‘For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.‘ Isaiah 43:19
One participant shared her creative expression above of HOPE depicting John 20:18 ‘ Mary Magdalene found the disciples and told them, “I have seen the Lord!” Then she gave them His message.’
Her husband wrote the poem that follows in the same session – their pieces linking together powerfully.
Hope is open.
Hope hops along trusting.
Hope anticipates,
rearranges our disjointed efforts.
Hope fills with expectation,
carries us joyfully
journeying
towards God.
