Over the last month the theme for creativity sessions has been ‘reassurance’ and what that looks like for us personally. A participant shares their expression on the theme:
REASSURANCE.
Do you have the reassurance from the One who holds the key
to every single moment and to all eternity…
Do you have the reassurance from the One who thought of you
before He made the sun and moon and oceans green and blue…
Do you have the reassurance that He was there when you were hurt,
He felt your pain, anxiety, and even your despair.
Do you have the reassurance that He wants to heal the past,
if you’ll open up and ask Him in to bring you peace, at last.
Do you have the reassurance that He’s the Father you long for,
Who forgives you time and time again, and does not keep the score…
Do you have the reassurance that He has a plan for you,
however young or old you are, just ask, He will guide you.
Do you have the reassurance that if you persevere,
you will know love and fulfilment, don’t wander, but draw near.
Do you have the reassurance that when your life is through,
He will take you to a better place, where you’ll be made brand-new.
